100% RECYCLING
EVERY CHIP COUNTS
OUR UNIQUE CONCEPT
We have a concept that is unique in the packaging industry in Europe: the recycling of 100% of the wood – from the bark to the last chip. And this is done in the best possible way: bark is converted into CO 2 -neutral energy in the company’s own power plants, sawdust and wood chips are used for pallet blocks, high-quality briquettes and pellets. Together with the company’s own production of pallet nails, we can produce large quantities cost-effectively and with high quality. This means we are crisis-proof and can deliver reliably even under difficult economic conditions. At the same time, self-sufficient, integrated production enables us to produce a wide range of products in the areas of pallets, biofuels, sawn timber as well as garden and milling products.
100% FROM TRUNK TO PRODUCT
Wood is a valuable raw material that must be used carefully. Also when it comes to the production of pallets or other products. Our claim is therefore clearly formulated: We use every trunk 100%.
To achieve this, we have invested in the latest technology: all tree trunks are harvested using modern harvester machines and then transported to the factory. There they are debarked and then measured in full contour using laser and camera technology. The data obtained in this way forms the basis for further processing in the sawmill and billing with suppliers.
The boards are used to make high-quality wooden pallets, milling and garden products . Planed goods for export are also produced. The resulting chips and wood chips are dried and processed into high-quality biofuels and pallet blocks.
The energy required for drying the chips and pallets is also produced on site – from the tree bark of the trunks, which is used in our own thermal power plants . We also feed green electricity into the public power grid in compliance with the EEG.
CONSISTENTLY THOUGHT THROUGH
SELF-SUFFICIENT PRODUCTION
It usually takes just 24 hours from the delivery of the logs to the finished pallet. And this even under difficult economic conditions. Thanks to our unique concept, we can operate largely independently of external service providers and suppliers. From the harvest to the pallet, everyone works hand in hand.
REGIONAL SUPPLY
TIMBER HARVESTING
Our wood comes from sustainably managed forests, which are usually located within a 250 kilometer radius around Tingsryd. The region around Tingsryd is one of the most forested regions in Sweden and reliably ensures the supply of round wood to our sawmill. It also allows us to maintain personal relationships with regional forest owners and implement short transport routes.
The wood is harvested using, among other things, five of our own machines and long-term cooperation partners. Our highly mechanized forestry technology is RAL certified. It can therefore also be used in certified forest areas for wood harvesting and wood removal.
The professional harvesting and removal of the logs is ensured by, among other things, forestry engineers in the office and in the field. You advise our partners on all questions about the forest, the harvest, processing and billing for the harvested logs.
If possible, we will also take over complete lots from the forest owner. This is possible because we can process raw wood in our factory with diameters ranging from 6 cm to 1 m and lengths from 2.40 to 5.00 m of any native type of wood in almost any quality.
STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
SAWMILLS
In our two sawmills, over 1.1 million cubic meters of wood are processed into sawn timber every year for our own pallet production and export.
Each sawmill is optimally equipped for cutting the 2.40 – 4.00m long logs: In the small wood sawmill, round wood with smaller diameters is cut using two HewSaw R200 saw lines. A LINCK chipper reducing circular saw system processes the medium-thick round wood in online operation, while an EWD double quadro band saw line, with an upstream CT log, processes the thick wood into sawn wood, also in online operation. Using the latest scanner and measuring technology, the sawing lines are controlled electronically in order to get the maximum yield from the cut logs.
